In the era of big data, the fifth-generation wireless technology (5G) is changing the entire landscape of architecture. The idea of architecture is no longer confined into building a physical space. Architecture can now become spontaneous and responsive. With the incredible speed and accuracy of wireless network, tangible space could then be defined by the intangible.

However, while the fast-growing technology is enhancing our lives, it could leave our privacy in the dust. A portable private space is needed at anytime, anywhere.

The INTANGIBLE CITY is an interactive installation artwork which gives an insight of the imaginative concept of “Cloud Privacy”, where instant privacy can be created on demand. It could be on the street, in a park or even in the middle of the Victoria harbour!
