Tapping on Hong Kong heterogeneous culture, HodgeKodge curates and provides a platform dedicated to indigenous sauces from Hong Kong small and exquisite food outlets, gourmets with secret recipes and sauce makers. It aims to promote and preserve our intangible food traditions and support the local industry.

The project will explore the development of urbanism and architecture in different parts of Hong Kong, from the coastal area like Tai O to various industrial communities in Kwun Tong, Tuen Mun and Kwai Tsing areas. It investigates the growth and success of different local sauce-making brands, including both corporate business and individuals, and unveils the stories behind through a unique perspective of a curious visitor/ local.
