Chief Curator

Roger Wu

Originally born in Hong Kong, Roger lived in the UK (studying and working) for 27 years before returning to his home city in 2010. Qualified in the UK as an architect in 1997, Roger has worked for a number of practices in the UK and Hong Kong. Roger’s expertise lies in his extensive experience leading projects with complex design and operational requirements coupled with his considerable experience in practice management as well as business development.

Roger is currently the Executive Director of Haw Par Music Foundation Limited, a non-profit Organisation set up to oversee the revitalisation of the historic Haw Par Mansion in Tai Hang, Hong Kong, into a centre for music education.

Alan Cheung

Alan Cheung is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of One Bite Design Studio and One Bite Social. He was graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong for both his Bachelor and Master degrees in Architecture, and is a registered architect in Hong Kong with more than 10 years of experience.

Alan is currently the Chairman of the Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) Committee of Hong Kong Institute of Architects. He was shortlisted for the Young Architect Award by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects in 2015, and has recently been awarded “40 Under 40” in the Architecture category by Perspective in 2018.

Sarah Mui

Sarah received a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Master of Architecture from University College London in UK. She has 10 years of solid experience in social design and community event curation.

Sarah has also been involved in the branding and creative direction for other community NGOs and community projects such as Very Hong Kong and Urban Diary. She has been involved at various teaching capacities including Hong Kong Design Institute and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is the winner of the Young Architect Award by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects in 2016 and Jessica Women of Excellence Award 2017, and the CreateSmart Young Design Talent Award by DFA Awards in 2018.

Peter Murray

Peter Murray Hon FRIBA is Curator-in-Chief of the New London Architecture centre, the Mayor of London’s International Design Advocate and Chairman on The London Society. Peter is also a Director of the London Festival of Architecture which he founded in 2004. Trained as an architect, he has spent his career writing about and commenting on architecture rather than practising it. He was formerly the editor of the Royal Institute of British Architects Journal; he was also CEO of the global communications agency Wordsearch, specialising in architecture and real estate. He is a keen cyclist and campaigns to improve walking and cycling in cities. He is a board member of the Center for Active Design and of the Association of Architectural Organisations. in 2018 the London Evening Standard voted him one of the 1000 most influential Londoners.

Tim Stonor

Tim Stonor is an architect and urban planner who has devoted his career to the analysis and design of human behaviour patterns: the ways in which people move, interact and transact in buildings and urban places. He is an internationally recognised expert in the design of spatial layouts and, in particular, the role of space in the generation of social, economic and environmental value.

Tim is the Managing Director of Space Syntax, an urban planning and design company created at University College London in 1989 to develop and apply predictive design technologies. He is a Director of The Academy of Urbanism, a Visiting Professor at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, a Harvard Loeb Fellow and Deputy Chair of the UK Design Council.

Laura Mazzeo

Laura is an award-winning architect, urban designer and developer who is passionate about place-making. She is strongly committed to the development of ideas for better cities and a fervent advocate of the empowerment of women in the construction industry. She thrives on dialogue with all segments of society: the community, decision-makers, thinkers, fellow designers, activists, artists, and many more to make things happen at the urban scale.

Laura Mazzeo is currently a Development Director with Hong Kong based developer PCPD and looking after an international portfolio of properties and land ownerships. Laura was a London Mayor Design Advocate along with other high profile professionals until she moved back to Hong Kong in 2018 .
